Candidate Vacancy Grid Update

We have made a couple of small updates to the Candidates Vacancy grid section in Chameleon-i with the addition of a New Search to allow you to filter the various states that a vacancy may be set to, we have also added the State column to the grid as shown below.

Company Notes Updates

We have made a couple of small changes to the Company Notes section in Chameleon-i with the addition of the Client Contact column and New Note button.

The grid now shows the Client contact that the note is logged against with a direct link to the client record for easy navigation.

You can also create new notes now from within the Company Notes grid by pressing the ‘+ New’ button as per screenshot below, just remember to select a Client Contact from the dropdown list to associate the note with.

Vacancy Search Grid Updates

Chameleon-i’s vacancy grid has had a few additional search criteria options added over the last couple of weeks. They include the following: –

Use ‘Created’ from the dropdown list and the date range picker to narrow your search results within a specified created date range.


Use ‘Last Updated’ from the dropdown list and the date range picker to view vacancies that have been updated within the selected date range.


Use ‘Salary’ from the dropdown list to view vacancies

Chameleon-i Grid Search Update

Chameleon-i grid searches for Clients and Candidates had a new search term addition, in the form of the ‘Sounds Like’ option in the criteria drop-down list.

You can use ‘Sounds Like’ to widen your search criteria for example: looking for the contact forename ‘Dave’ with this option will return results back such as ‘David’ or ‘Davy’. It’s a good way to get back results which include and allow for nicknames, shortened names, partial names in order to save you time and trouble in finding that elusive cont

Outlook 2010 in Safe Mode with disabled plugins due to update KB3114409, user removing update to restore Chameleon-i plugin functionality.

Note to Chameleon-i Users regarding Outlook 2010

Today we had a couple of reports from Chameleon-i users that our Outlook plugin had been disabled on the launch of Outlook 2010.

Further investigation revealed that the issue related to users applying the December update KB3114409 for Outlook 2010, Outlook 2010 may as a result only start in Safe Mode disabling plugins and extensions. Microsoft is aware of this issue and has pulled the update as a result.
