Did you know you can merge records in Chameleon-i?
We have recently updated the merge records feature to include all previous Vacancies, Shortlists and Placements that the Candidate record was associated with so all hostorical activity is merged into a single record.
To merge records, you will need the “Contact ID” of the two records you wish to merge. This can be found in the records “System Information” section.
Simply, click on the ‘Help’ button in the top right-hand corner of Chameleon-i, and select the ‘Merge Records’
Read more →If you use the Vacancy Search functionality highlighted below (the magnifying glass), we are making some changes to where we store these within Chameleon-i.
Saved Vacancy Searches are currently located within the Smart Navigation panel on the left in Chameleon-i and saved below your generic Saved Searches. These Saved Vacancy Searches are going to be relocated to reside as highlighted below under their respective Vacancies.
The ‘+’ expander indicates that there is a saved search in the Smart Navigation panel.
On Wednesday 9th March 2016 we will be releasing an updated Single Action System for all users.
The new Action System greatly reduces the number of clicks it takes to perform day to day actions and addresses a number of requests from our users.
The Actions that have been updated include:
Telephone Call Action
Email Action
CV send on spec
CV send from shortlist
Interview confirmation
Offers
Rejections
Placements
If you have an integrated website solution with Chameleon-i be it a Bespoke, Template or Blueprint site or one of our integration options – iFrames, the WordPress Plugin or our API you will be aware that all vacancies have an expiry date set when you create them. This functionality automatically removes the vacancy from your website.
Don’t forget, to repost your vacancies just head to your vacancy grid, you can select to view all vacancies or just your own from the drop down list. Select the required vacancy or vacancies by ticking the
Read more →Chameleon-i’s Candidates search grid has had a few additional features and search criteria added over the last couple of weeks. They include the following: –
Use ‘Contacted’ from the dropdown list and the date range picker, From – To, to narrow your search results within a specified last contacted date range.
Use ‘CVdate’ to find candidates with CV’s uploaded within a date range.
Use ‘Registered’ to find candidates that have registered within a specified date range.

Read more →We have made a couple of small updates to the Candidates Vacancy grid section in Chameleon-i with the addition of a New Search to allow you to filter the various states that a vacancy may be set to, we have also added the State column to the grid as shown below.
We have made a couple of small changes to the Company Notes section in Chameleon-i with the addition of the Client Contact column and New Note button.
The grid now shows the Client contact that the note is logged against with a direct link to the client record for easy navigation.
You can also create new notes now from within the Company Notes grid by pressing the ‘+ New’ button as per screenshot below, just remember to select a Client Contact from the dropdown list to associate the note with.

Use ‘Created’ from the dropdown list and the date range picker to narrow your search results within a specified created date range.
Use ‘Last Updated’ from the dropdown list and the date range picker to view vacancies that have been updated within the selected date range.
Use ‘Salary’ from the dropdown list to view vacancies
We have updated the Chameleon-i vacancy shortlist grid with the addition of the new tick box selectors as shown in the image below.
